Zusje 1995
Zusje is a Dutch production about a young man who visits his sister, and stays with her for a while, in order to, quite obsessively, make a documentary about her. Only at the end of this no-budget film it becomes clear what all this was about, both remember issues from their past, that have been haunting them since… This is not a ‘beautiful’ film, but I will never forget it’s last scenes.
Zusje is het (Nederlandse) verhaal over een jongeman die zijn zus opzoekt, er een poosje gaat wonen en nogal obsessief een soort documentaire gaat maken over haar leven. Vrij laat in deze no-budget film wordt pas duidelijk waar dit allemaal toe leidt, beiden herinneren zich dingen uit hun jeugd, die ze al tijden achtervolgen…. Geen ‘mooie’ film, maar ik zal het pakkende einde nooit vergeten.
